We took a group of 3 novice anglers on the 60 ft Luxury Boat for 2 Days & 3 Nights of FADs Fishing, departing from the Marina Pez Vela in Quepos, Costa Rica.

The results were beyond our expectations.   The first night was quite fun, we got to share some of our own fishing stories with the novice fishermen.

The fishing in the FADs has been good for the past few months so we expected the fishing to be more than solid.

Early morning around 7:00 a.m. we got our first bite, a Blue Marlin which was reeled in by 2 of the anglers for more than 1 hour and 30 minutes.

After the Blue Marlin, we also found action for a couple Yellow Fin Tuna,  and 6 Sailfish.

These guys never expected so much action in a single day of fishing but that is the amazing thing about going to the FADs, the odds of catching fish are much higher vs a regular offshore charter that goes just 30 miles out.
